Terms And Condition

Seven Stars School Buses Transportation: 
 
General Instructions :
 
  1. Parents willing to admit their students for school transport services are required to register at SSSBT office or at the school. 
     

  2. The application form to be completed with all required information.
     

  3. SSSBT coordinator will contact the paretns with regards to the registration of transport services within two working days after recieving the application. 
     

  4. SSSBT coordinator and Bus Monitor to be introduced to the Guardian/Nanny who will be responsible during pick up and drop off.
     

  5. SSSBT will provide seat, based on availability on first come first serve basis.
     

  6. SSSBT will provide student ID card which needs to be carried while using the services. No student will be permitted to board the bus without the ID card.
     

  7. ID card lost, misplaced, damaged or reissued due to update of any information will be replaced with a fee of AED 25.
     

  8. Student to be seated at the designated seats assigned by SSSBT or School.
     

  9. SSSBT Coordinator and Bus Monitor will be the point of contact for day to day communication.
     

  10. Parents have to inform SSSBT coordinator or the respective bus monitor if the student is absent on any particular day.
     

  11. SSSBT coordinator or Bus Monitor to be informed if the parent wishes to drop or pick their children to and from school.
     

  12. During drop off, it is mandatory that the Parent/Guardian/Nanny is present to recieve the student of KG to Grade 5. In some cases if the Parent/Guardian/Nanny is unavailable to recieve hte student at the designated place and time, SSSBT will bring the student back to SSSBT Office/School and it will be thre responsibility of the Parent/Guardian/Nanny to pick the student from SSSBT Office/School
     

  13. Children with contagious diseases are not permitted to travel in the bus. A medical certificate should be handed to the School Transport Coordinator on the day the child return to school.
     

  14. Parents shall compensate SSSBT for any damages caused/sustained on the bus or to other passengers on board as a result of inappropriate behaviour/actions by their child. 
     

  15. Students registered for one way services are allowed to upgrade to two way services only once in an academic year.
     

  16. Students using two way services are not allowed to shift to one way service during the academic year.
     

  17. To avoid interruption in services, shift change from one way to two way, change lcoation, or change in personal information of parents/students must be requested by submitting the Service Request Form (SRF) which will be available with the School coordinator/school.
     

  18. Service request for shift and location change will require a Turn Around Time (TAT) of two working days and will depend on seat availabilty of the designated route.
     

  19. If SSSBT service is no longer required, a month notice before the next academic term is required, to discontinue the services. Parents will be obligated to pay the entire fees for the current academic term.
     

  20. SSSBT has the right to alter bus routes, bus timings or swap students between buses as and when deemed necessary.
     

  21. SSSBT may use e-mail id / mobile number for the parents for conveying messages / sending newsletter / circulars.
     

  22. All SSSBT vehicles, drivers and passengers are insured. In case of any claim due to accident, the company's liability is limited to the compensation paid by the insurance company, as per the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
     

  23. To ensure a safe and enjoyable journey, parents and students should adhere to the rules and regulations on all the SSSBT buses. Please ensure that your child is aware of the rules mentioned above, so that all bus trips are incident free. 
     

  24. Any unresolved issues between the parent and SSSBT will be forwarded to the school.

 
Pick Up & Drop Off :
 
  1. SSSBT Transport Coordinator will check the route and the pick-up / drop off point to ensure that they are able to offer the service in your area and that the pick-up / drop-off point is safe. Once this has been confirmed you will be notified of the timings, bus number, bus monitor's contact details.
     

  2. Bus Monitors will not pick and drop students at their door; instead they are picked-up and dropped off at the pre-determined location points.
     

  3. Bus route and timing are determined by the areas in Abu Dhabi where the students are residing. Every student who travels on an SSSBT bus is expected to be at the designated waiting point five minutes before the scheduled arrival time. Buses will not leave from location ahead of schedule. However, buses will not be able to wait at pick-up points for not more than one minute after the scheduled time. Due to traffic delays buses may arrive at pick-up and drop off points behind schedule.
     

  4. Students between KG to Grade 5 will not be dropped without the presence of Parents / Guardian /Nanny. Parents will be notified and the student can be collected from SSSBT Office/School.
     

  5. SSSBT does not accept verbal requests from Parents/Guardian/Nanny for students to be picked up or dropped off from unauthroized locations.
     

  6. SSSBT will not be given any notification calls to Parents / Guardian / Nanny before the pick-up and drop off time.

 

Student Bus Behaviour Code :
 

SSSBT requires every student to adhere with the Bus Behaviour Code. SSSBT requires full cooperation of the parents to keep their children safe and happy, while travelling to and from school. Parents are required to discuss the safety measures with their child which will be very helpful. 

 

Student MUST :
 
  1. Be Kind, Safe, Respectful and  maintain discipline at all times.
     

  2. Be responsible for getting on to the bus on time after school, as buses will not wait.
     

  3. Respect the School Bus Driver and Monitor with the same manner as you would be with your teachers, and their instructions must be followed at all times.
     

  4. Remain seated on the designated seat facing forward and wear the seatbelts throughout the bus journey.
     

  5. Keep the aisle and walkway clear at all times.
     

  6. Report problems to the Bus Monitor / Bus Driver.
     

  7. Be ready and on time for Pick-Up and Drop-off.
     

  8. Have their belongings organized and adequantely secured before arriving at their stop.
     

  9. Speak quietly with "inside voices" throughout the bus journey.
     

  10. Take responsibilty for their valuables such as jewellery and electronic devices etc. SSSBT will not be responsible for any loss of personal property.
     

  11. Get off the bus only at their designated stop unless permission is otherwise granted by the Bus monitor.
     

Student MUST NOT :

 

  1. Open the window at any time during the journey.
     

  2. Throw objects of any kind in or outside the bus. 
     

  3. Shout, Scream or use offensive, profane insulting language on the bus.
     

  4. Physically abuse and bully any passengers in or off the bus.
     

  5. Indulge in any kind of act that will damage SSSBT school buses.
     

  6. Bring friends or outsiders into the bus.
     

  7. Place anything outside the windows of the bus at any time.
     

  8. Eat and drink in the bus.
     

  9. Switch/Change buses without the permission of the school coordinator. 
     

  10. Keep the bus waiting, as it causes inconvenience to other students on the route.
